Every year the
Barn Swallows return to the same spot, by our playground door, to build their nest. We have been lucky enough to see the baby birds each year. The Barn Swallows are always interesting to watch as they build their nest from mud and swarm closely, protecting their eggs. This year has been a little different in that a second set of offspring hatched in the nest after the first set flew away. Will the Barn Swallows return next year?
