LET'S GO CAMPING!

The preschool and pre-kindergarten classes have transformed their rooms
to become a camp site this week. They have done some creative camping activities
in their classrooms and outside. One of our families brought their 1981 VW  camper
van to the school for the children to explore. The  children looked at the beds,
stove, refrigerator, and table inside. Then they walked around the outside
of the van to see any differences from what their cars look like compared
to the camper. It was great fun!

Thank you for letting us see this cool VW camper!

MUFFINS FOR MOM

Our Mother's Day Celebration started off in
the morning with lots of hugs and smiles.
Moms came in to enjoy muffins and juice with  their children.
As you can see in the pictures nothing is better then being with mom to start the day.

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with The Veg Head!  The Veg Head completely understands our standards in healthy food choices. They only make fresh, organic, and natural lunches that are kid-friendly. The menu can be adapted to accommodate special diets (non-dairy, non-gluten, vegetarian, etc.).  As always, our lunches continue to be served with organic milk.

A New Tree!

Thank you to our friends at Leave No Child Inside for their generous donation of a new tree for our play yard.  We are looking forward to all of the shade we will get from this tree in a few months.  Thank you, LNCI!

Cincinnati Museum Center -- Stuffee, the anatomy doll

Earlier this week we enjoyed a visit from the Cincinnati Museum Center. They brought "Stuffee," an anatomy doll, to help teach the children about how the body works.

The kids were able to put "food" in Stuffee's mouth and feed him! Then they unzipped him to see where the food goes and talked about how healthy food helps our bodies.  Stuffee's organs were removed from his body and the children learned all about what the organs are and what they do.  Very neat!
